José Manuel Barroso, re-elected President of the European Commission

Mr. Barrosso was elected the 16th September to renovate his mandate like President of the European Commission.

Priorities of the new Commission:

- to guarantee an exit to the crisis;

- to lead the fight against climate change;

- to develop new sources of development and social cohesion;

- to move towards Citizens’ Europe;

- to open a new period where Europe will be a global actor.
