On 15th of July 2008 at Villeneuve-les-Avignon (France) was created the first European Confederation of Local Intermediate Authorities. Partenalia, as an associated member of CEPLI, is one of the founding members of the confederation. CEPLI is composed by national provincial associations and counts among its members two association representing the intermediate local authorities, namely: Partenalia and Arco Latino (www.arcllati.org).

Being a member of CEPLI contributes a high added value to Partenalia, as it will have a greater presence in the European arena, enlarge its network of contacts and work with associations having similar objectives to Partenalia; in addition, CEPLI will provide a pan-European lobbying platform for Partenalia.
